GREENSBURG (Oct. 23, 2014) – Officials at the Honda plant in Greensburg are investigating an “unknown substance.”

Spokeswoman Anita Sites described it as a “powdery substance” and said a note was discovered next to it. Sipes wouldn’t say if the substance came in the mail or if it had been left at the plant. According to a statement, Honda immediately contacted authorities. Tests showed the substance was non-toxic and posed no danger.

A plant worker told FOX59 that they were on medical quarantine as a result of the incident. Production was stopped so tests could be conducted.

The company is now working with investigators to determine if there’s anything criminal about the situation.
