(April 23, 2014) – You’re supposed to unwind and unplug on vacation—but our addiction to smartphones won’t allow it!

A new study finds 90 percent of vacationers won’t leave without their phones. It’s not all about business, though. Sixty-two percent of travelers said they used their phone to check email on a trip. Just half of them were reading work messages.

Vacationers also used their phones to find restaurants, activities and directions.
