INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (May 19, 2014) — A man was fatally shot on the city’s north side Monday night.
The shooting occurred in the 4000 block of Boulevard Place around 11 p.m. Police identified him Tuesday morning as Patrick Martin, 24, Indianapolis.
According to witnesses, two men broke into the house and shot the victim.
Martin died at the scene. He was visiting his friend’s house and did not live at the location.
Eight children under the age of ten were also inside the house, and at least one of those children witnessed the murder.
This makes for three active crime scenes, six shooting victims, and three confirmed deaths in about 75 minutes on Monday night.
