INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (June 7, 2014) — Friends and family of Harry Briggs, the gas station clerk who was shot during a robbery on Wednesday night, confirm he has passed away.

A robber fired three shots at 45-year-old Harry Briggs just after 10 p.m. Briggs is a clerk at the Joe’s Junction store at Troy and Lynhurst.

Police are still looking for the suspect in the case.

Shocking surveillance video shows the suspect enter the store, get in the faces of Briggs and the other employee and almost immediately fire those shots. One shot hit Briggs in the head.

Most shockingly, the suspect was skipping down the parking lot when he left. He went east on Troy, eventually taking off running.

Police said the man, described as a light-skinned black male, was in his teens or early 20s and stood 5’10” to 6′ tall. He had earrings in both ears.
