LAWRENCE, Ind. (April 8, 2014)– A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a 24-year-old woman found dead inside of a wooden chest.

On March 23, Lawrence police detectives responded to the Maison Gardens apartment complex after someone found the body of Jazmine Trammell, 24, inside a wood chest next to a dumpster.

On Tuesday, police announced the arrest of James Wade, 60, Indianapolis, on a preliminary charge of murder.

Lawrence Police Detectives are thankful for the community’s involvement in providing information helpful during this investigation.
