INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (July 24, 2014)— The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is on Indianapolis’ northeast side after police said two people were shot.

IMPD responded to the 3300 block of Guilford Avenue in reference to the shootings.

Police said one juvenile was detained, but he has not been arrested.  The juvenile was grazed by a bullet, said police.

The second person shot was an elderly woman, who suffered a gunshot wound in the arm.  She was transported to Eskenazi Hospital.  Her condition is unknown at this time.

Officers continue their search for another person in connection with the shootings.

A SWAT team was temporarily called out to the scene.
