NEWBURGH (April 18, 2014) – A scuffle between two men at a southern Indiana Walmart started when one man entered the store through the exit door, police say.

Indiana State Police arrived at the Walmart in Newburgh Thursday afternoon in response to the fight. They arrested Bennie Duvall, 64, Newburgh, and Brandon Leeds, 28, Boonville.

According to state police, Duvall punched Leeds after the two “exchanged words.” Leeds had entered the store through the exit doors, police said.

Duvall was arrested on a battery charge. Leeds was arrested on a warrant out of Warrick County for failing to appear in court.

Both were taken to the Warrick County Jail and released after posting bond.
