LAFAYETTE, Ind. (Nov. 5, 2014) – Lafayette police made two arrests after a pair of armed robberies this week.

The Village Pantry at 601 Union St. was robbed around 1:40 a.m. Wednesday. Lafayette police arrested Tiffany Dawn Mounts, 19, and Miguel Garcia, 26, in connection with the crime.

Police said the pair stole cash, alcohol, sandwiches and cigarettes from the store.

Garcia was also arrested in a separate armed robbery at the Speedway Gas Station on 1901 Elmwood Ave. that took place on Nov. 1.
